Just a few of the many stories about the film...

“Tim Reischauer and Rick Hall have created a soulful, wry and entertaining slice of Americana with Slice of Pie. Rick delivers a Robin Williams-like performance as he navigates the transition from awkward man-boy to smooth and witty gentleman. Kelly Macleod's acting is right on the money and I love her musical performance...the soundtrack is great. Voiceovers can be risky and although I questioned the choice at first it worked well and I wouldn't change it. And the supporting actors added plenty of life to this small town... I'm delighted to have this film in consideration.”

Actor-writer Rick Hall cast his own mother as the “Pushy Church Lady” in his award-winning short film, “Slice of Pie.” The Carrollton native enlisted family, friends, neighbors and the high school wrestling coach when he returned to his Jersey County roots to film the small-town romantic comedy last year.
